Where do you go to find a decent pint !
(With a few cartoons thrown in for good measure).
Nice mix eh!
pubs and Beer to try out in the local and
not so local area
The King Street Mill,King St.Aberdeen.
A nice pub but always full unless the local university
is closed and the students have all gone home.
Bad points : Forget trying to sit down ten mins
after opening time.
Beer wise :Calders Cream :Not to bad but the rest on selection is week
and watery.
The Flare & Firkin,Holburn St. Aberdeen &
The Feline & Firkin, 9 Princes St. Wolverhampton.
Great pub with loads of atmosphere.
Bad Points: There are none
Beer wise :Firkin Dog Bolter.A great pint but not recommended if you need
full control of your legs.
The Crooked House,Himley Road,Himley.West
Midlands.
The only pub where you dont need to be pi**ed
to fall over as the pub has subsided and now leans at a 30 degree angle.
Great fun for playing pool in.
bad points:Full of prats and dick heads (The silk shirt brigade).
Beer wise:Banks's bitter is the best pint, stay away from the M&B bitter
and the Ansells Bitter as it tastes awful and will have you on the toilet for a week.
The Halfway House, Tettenhall Road, Wolverhampton.West Midlands.
An extremely old pub halfway between London & Hollyhead, hence the name.
This pub has live music on sunday and tuesday nights and also has Sky television .
The beer isn't bad but stay away from the M&B mild unless you have an asbestos stomach wall
& your colon is the strongest muscle in your body.
